Dr Shannon Kim is a proficient urological microsurgeon in NSW. She graduated from New York University and completed her MBBS at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) before specialising in Urology. Passionate about male fertility, erectile dysfunction, ejaculation disorders, microsurgery and laser stone surgery, she further developed her skills at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Here, she worked with Dr Craig Niederberger and Dr Lawrence Ross, two of the foremost male infertility experts in the United States.
She also worked with Dr David Golovsky, the country’s leading expert in male infertility, and invested in a shared research project with a team from the UIC into clomiphene citrate or the hormone optimisation for male infertility.
Dr Kim is currently working at The Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, varies fertility specialists and is a conjoint lecturer at UNSW and Lecturer at Macquarie University Medical School. She is popular among patients for her expert care and thorough approach to treatment.
She is also fluent in Korean.
